An integral part of the Early Music Days is the Forum for Historical Musical Instruments, which we organise in cooperation with the Germanisches Nationalmuseum (GNM). In 2024 it will be dedicated to the theme 'From ensemble to orchestra'. The museum's extraordinary collection of historical musical instruments provides the basis for this series of events, which is located at the interface of cultural-historical academic research, traditional cultural assets and living musical practice.
The musical splendour of the Hanoverian court will be brought to the stage on 17 January by the baroque ensemble "la festa musicale" in the "Musica Antiqua" series.
Many more concerts, lectures and workshops await you from 14 to 25 January 2024.
