In 2008, Bavaria's third state university of music was founded in Nuremberg, having emerged from the Meistersinger Conservatory and the Nuremberg-Augsburg joint university. Over the past 15 years, the university has undergone enormous change, from the reform of its degree courses and the many high-profile new appointments and vacancies to the conversion and renovation of its building.
The greatest success: around 1,850 students have successfully completed their studies at the Nuremberg School of Music in the last 15 years.
