News Success Carnegie Hall debut for junior student Konstantin Demydas

Junior student Konstantin Demydas won first prize at this year's Elite International Competition and will make his debut at the prizewinners' concert in the small hall of New York's Carnegie Hall on 1 June 2024. He is studying in the Gifted and Talented Programme in the violin class of Prof. Daniel Gaede. Congratulations to him!

Konstantin Demydas received violin lessons from private teachers and at Musikpunkt Nuremberg. He has been a member of the orchestra since 2017 and was concertmaster of the Junge Fürther Streichhölzer from 2019 to 2021. For several years now, he has been concertmaster of the Junge Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg, the youth orchestra of the Nuremberg State Theatre. He is a multiple 1st prize winner of the national competition "Jugend musiziert". Since 2023 he has been a scholarship holder of the Hofmann Hagemann Hildesheim Foundation and plays on loan on the foundation's own Gaetano Pasta violin from 1713.
