In cooperation with Nuremberg University of Music, the NUEJAZZ team offered young Bavarian jazz musicians a high-calibre platform on which they could perform alongside the international line-up at the NUEJAZZ Festival. This year, participants were tasked with composing, arranging and performing jazz pieces based on the abstract theme of 'Picasso'.
At the sold-out concert of the prize-winning ensembles at AEG, Nuremberg's Lord Mayor and patron Marcus König gave the laudatory speech and emphasised the importance of culture for society.
