Nanaho Torosu was born in Osaka, Japan, in 2001. She began receiving violin lessons using the Suzuki method at the age of three. In 2017, she enrolled at Kyoto Municipal Kyoto Horikawa Senior High School of Music, where she continued her violin studies with Shoko Ikegawa.
She began her Bachelor's degree at Kyoto City University of Arts under Prof. Kyoko Shikata in 2019, graduating in 2023 as the best student in her year. Since 2024, she has been studying for a master's degree with Prof. Daniel Gaede at Nuremberg University of Music.
In 2021, Nanaho Torosu won second prize at the Osaka International Music Competition and third prize at the Japan Player's Competition. She has also won several prizes at national competitions in Japan. She has performed as a soloist with the Kyoto City University of Arts Orchestra.
She gained orchestral experience in 2024 with the Pacific Music Festival Orchestra Academy, and from 2023 to 2024 as a substitute with the Japan Century Symphony Orchestra and the City of Kyoto Symphony Orchestra.
