“It is a great pleasure for me to be appointed chancellor of the Nuremberg University of Music, and at the same time it is a special responsibility,” emphasises Marina Weber. 'I am grateful for the trust placed in me and look forward to working with the university community to further develop the institution and continue creating favourable conditions for study, teaching, research, and performance practice.'
President Prof. Rainer Kotzian is delighted: 'In Marina Weber, the Nuremberg University of Music is gaining a chancellor who knows our institution inside out, and who has already demonstrated her professional expertise, leadership skills, and great commitment in an impressive manner. During her time as acting head of the Chancellor’s Office in particular, she took on responsibility and guided the university with foresight and reliability. I would like to thank her for our trusting collaboration and look forward to continuing to drive the successful development of our university together with her.”
