She was awarded the prestigious Trude Eipperle Rieger Prize in 2022 and was nominated as the best young artist in the critics' survey of the Opernwelt yearbook. The soprano made her debut at the Staatstheater Meiningen in 2022 as the Queen of the Night in Mozart's "Die Zauberflöte" and can be seen and heard in this role at both the Hof Theatre and the Staatstheater Meiningen in the 2023/24 season. She rounds off her musical activities with a large repertoire of lieder and oratorios.

The Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University Competition is organised by the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation in cooperation with the Rectors' Conference of German Universities of Musics (RKM) and the Berlin University of the Arts.

Andris Nelsons is the patron of the competition. The artistic director is Prof Dr Sebastian Nordmann.

This year the competition took place from 17 to 21 January in the fields of voice and string quartet.
