Hailing from Seoul, South Korea, Eunhye Kang learnt to play the violin at Yewon Art Middle School and Seoul Arts High School. During her school years, she achieved significant success in competitions, winning first prize in the Haneum Music Competition in Seoul, among others.
From 2015 to 2019, she studied the violin at Seoul Metropolitan University, successfully completing her Bachelor's degree. During this period, she gained extensive experience performing with various ensembles and further developed her musical skills through numerous concerts and performances.
Since October 2022, she has been studying for a Master's degree at Nuremberg University of Music in Prof. Dr. Reto Kuppel's class. She has attended masterclasses with Prof. Juan Salvador Raya and Lorenzo Lucca, the first concertmaster of the Hofer Symphoniker, from whom she gained valuable artistic insights.
Eunhye Kang has gained extensive professional orchestral experience as an intern with the Augsburg Philharmonic Orchestra (2023) and is currently working as a first violinist with the Hagen Philharmonic Orchestra (2024/25).
For the upcoming season, she will be working as second violin with the Augsburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
