News Success Competition success for accordion class

Mirjana Petercol's accordion class achieved several successes at the Accordion Music Prize (AMP) at Ettlingen Castle. The youth competition of the German Accordion Association took place for the 16th time from 10 to 12 May. Every three years, the best young accordion, harmonica, Styrian and diatonic accordion players from all over Germany are awarded.

Scores were awarded in 28 categories and age groups. Federal conductor Silke D'Inka,  who was a member of the jury, is responsible for the national competitions. Schloss Ettlingen provided excellent conditions for the 160 participants. The competition was held under the patronage of the Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg, Winfried Kretschmann.

Marco Dick achieves highest score

Marco Dick from Zirndof achieved the highest score of all prize winners in the category "Styrian/diatonic hand harmonica" with 49.7 out of 50 possible points. Congratulations!

Josef Wallner wins 2nd prize in the category "Styrian/diatonic hand harmonica"

Josef Wallner has reached the 2nd place in the category "Styrian/diatonic hand harmonica" and has been awarded "excellent". Congratulations!

Anna-Lena Kreher receives rating "excellent"

Anna-Lena Kreher reached the 8th place in the category "Accordion Solo (Professionals)" and received the rating "excellent". Congratulations!
