News Success Yunfei Bai becomes Sub-Leader of the "China National Centre for the Performing Arts Orchestra"

Yunfei Bai, who graduated from Professor Daniel Gaede's masterclass, successfully auditioned for the position of Sub-Leader in the China National Centre for the Performing Arts Orchestra. This orchestra is considered one of the leading ensembles in Asia. Congratulations!

Yunfei Bai studied at the Central Conservatory of Music's affiliated primary school from 2004, continuing his studies there until completing his Master's degree in 2019 under Professor Tan Liwei's direction.

During his undergraduate and postgraduate studies, he was concertmaster of the Chinese Youth Symphony Orchestra and the CCOM Graduate Symphony Orchestra, performing with them at venues such as the National Centre for the Performing Arts and the Beijing Concert Hall.

He has also performed as a soloist with the Inner Mongolia Symphony Orchestra.

In 2016, he was admitted directly to the Master's programme at the CCOM without taking an entrance examination, graduating with top marks in his main subject in 2019. That same year, he was admitted to the Mozarteum University Salzburg in Austria, where he studied with Professor Pierre Amoyal.

In 2020, he began violin masterclass studies at Nuremberg University of Music with Professor Daniel Gaede. During his studies, he worked as an assistant in his class.

Yunfei Bai has previously held the positions of concertmaster with the Braunschweig State Orchestra and the Göttingen Symphony Orchestra, and guest concertmaster with the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also successfully held the position of concertmaster with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Cottbus State Theatre.
