Stella Heutling completed her Bachelor's degree at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of the Arts in Leipzig, studying in the class of Professor Nick Deutsch from 2019 to 2024, graduating with distinction. In 2021/22, she spent a year abroad at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv, studying with Dudu Carmel. Since 2024, she has been studying for a Master's degree at the Nuremberg University of Music in Professor Clara Dent-Bogányi's class. Her particular interest lies in playing the cor anglais: she studied it with Gundel Jannemann-Fischer during her Bachelor's degree and is currently studying it with Simone Preuin during her Master's degree.
She gained orchestral experience as an intern with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and the Würzburg Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also performed as a substitute with the Leipzig Symphony Orchestra and the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, among others.
Chamber music plays a central role in her musical career, and as a founding member of the ariaventus ensemble wind quintet, she regularly performs in Leipzig and the surrounding area.
