News Success Percussionist Elias Fenchel Joins Chemnitz Philharmonic

Elias Fenchel (class of Prof. Radoslaw Szarek) has won the audition for the percussion position at the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra in Chemnitz. Congratulations to him!

Elias Fenchel began his musical training at the music school in Mühlheim am Main, before going on to study percussion at the University of Music in Detmold. There, he completed a Bachelor's degree in Performance Studies and a Master's degree in Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy, specialising in timpani and percussion. Since 2023, he has been studying for a Master's degree in Percussion at Nuremberg University of Music under Prof. Radoslaw Szarek. He gained orchestral experience as a trainee with the Bielefeld Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hof Symphony Orchestra, among others.
He has been a member of the academy of the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra since the 2024/25 season.
