News Success Judith Keresztessy joins the Mannheim National Theatre Orchestra

Judith Keresztessy (class of Prof. Andreas Willwohl) has won the audition for viola in the Mannheim National Theatre Orchestra. Congratulations!

Judith Keresztessy began her musical education at the Nuremberg University of Music in Nuremberg majoring in Elementary Music Pedagogy in the class of Prof. Rainer Kotzian. She continued her violin studies with Prof. Ulf Klausenitzer, Prof. Reto Kuppel and Bart Vandenbogaerde.

In the summer of 2024, she completed her bachelor's degree in viola performance under Professor Andreas Willwohl. Since the winter semester of 2024, she has been continuing her studies with him in the Artistic Master's programme in viola.

As a permanent substitute she plays with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, the Hof Symphony Orchestra and was a soloist at the Mainfranken Theatre in Würzburg in the 2022 season. Chamber music experience with the renowned Mandelring Quartet has been beneficial in every way to the young musician's career.

She is a Rotary Meisterviola Scholar for the academic year 2024/25.
