Filaretos Vrettos is from Greece. He studied the piano at the Modern Conservatory of Athens under Prof. Chrysanthos Alisafis. In July 2023, he completed his music studies, graduating with a diploma in piano and receiving the "Very Good" award and first prize. During his studies, he actively participated in numerous piano masterclasses led by international lecturers at institutions including the University of Tampa (Florida), New York University Abu Dhabi, and the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Trossingen.
In April 2024, he won first prize at the 9th Maria Chairogiorgou-Sigara Panhellenic Music Competition. In February 2025, he won second prize at the Bach International Music Competition in Gdańsk, Poland. He has also performed at numerous major music festivals in Greece and abroad, including the
- Giorgos Manesis International Music Festival (Porto Heli, 33rd, 34th and 35th years)
- Gina Bachauer Music Festival (Athens
- Bavarian Music Academy in Marktoberdorf and Munich under the direction of Prof. Tomislav Nedelković-Baynov.
In September 2025, he was invited to perform in a solo concert organised by the Hydra Cultural Association, the Hydra Historical Archive Museum, and the Gina Bachauer International Music Association in Hydra. Since October 2024, he has been studying the piano at Nuremberg University of Music with Prof. Bernhard Endres.
