At DisC, students from the fields of Music, Design, and Computer Science collaborate across universities to explore how emerging disruptive technologies are transforming the cultural and creative industries. We are proud to announce that the DisC team behind the AI-supported application Neuropose has been honored in the Human Machine Co-Creativity category. Congratulations!

Borbalá Babai (NUM), Daria Karkhu (THN), Alexander Lorenz (THN) and Tobias Mack (THN) were honoured for their outstanding interdisciplinary project work in the 'Human Machine Co-Creativity' category at demoDay 2.0, an event held by the Bavarian Institute for Digital Transformation (BIDT) at Munich's Gasteig.

The AI-supported application Neuropose helps users to adopt and maintain a healthy posture while playing music. A neuromorphic camera analyses the musician's movements in real time and provides visual and haptic feedback.

This prototype was developed as part of the interdisciplinary project work of the Disruption in Creativity (DisC) digitalisation college, a collaborative project between the Nuremberg University of Music and the Nuremberg Institute of Technology.
