News Success Bruno Kleinert receives "Keep an Eye Award"

We are delighted to congratulate Bruno Kleinert (Prof. Patrick Stadler's saxophone class) on winning the prestigious "Keep an Eye Award" at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. As part of his master's project, Utopian Soundscapes: The Interplay of Music, Media and Identity in Contemporary Art, he has been awarded a grant of €10,000 to realise and further develop his transdisciplinary project.

Each year, the prize recognises outstanding master's projects in the arts that demonstrate exceptional innovation and social relevance.

Bruno previously studied classical saxophone with Prof Patrick Stadler at Nuremberg University of Music and is now continuing his studies with Prof Lars Niederstrasser in The Hague. Alongside his saxophone studies, he is also involved in audiovisual art, dance, and cultural theory research.

His current master's project explores the role of sound, narration and the body in constructing cultural identity, seeking new artistic forms of collective imagination for the future. Bruno is also involved in teaching, running workshops on embodied listening, improvisational movement, and cross-media artistic thinking. This has an influence on his project development.

We would like to congratulate him and look forward to seeing what he achieves next.
